As we navigate COVID-19 together, we want to be sure we continue to be transparent in our communication and keep you updated on our plans. Doris Miller Park is a tranquil neighborhood that's now designated for all rank bands (E1-O10) featuring discounted rent rates (less than BAH w/dependents) on select homes. These spacious 2, 3 and 4-bedroom homes are situated in walking distance to our Self Help Warehouse, the Halsey Terrace Mini-Mart and the Child Care Center. Its central location also provides easy access to the NEX, JBPHH, and freeways that can get you anywhere you need to go on the island.
The Doris MillerP ark is named after Doris “Dorie” Miller, a shipboard cook who rose to hero status during the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. He was the first African American to be awarded the Navy Cross.
All homes built by Ohana Military Communities comply with the ENERGY STAR government program, helping to create more energy efficiency. OMC homes consume 30 percent less energy than the average home on the market, in part by using equipment like solar water heaters and CFL light bulbs.
